Mark Carling 

Mark is a Chartered Surveyor who started his career in Manchester city centre after leaving Northumbria University in 1996. In 2010 he was promoted to the board of Directors of Hurstwood Holdings – property investors and developers who own 100 commercial and residential sites throughout the North West and Yorkshire, with an annual rent in excess of £6 million.   In 2014 Mark decided it was time to become his own boss and founded Carling Jones Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors with his father Ian.

Ian Carling

Ian has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors since 1979, having owned his own Construction and Development company since 1983 in Skipton and in 2008 managed his own property investment portfolio.  In 2014 Ian jointly set up the Estate Agency family firm with his son Mark.  Ian is also an active magistrate and a member of the rotary club in Skipton, yet he still manages to find time for ‘Marching on Together’ with his favourite football team as a season ticket holder for LUFC.

Emma Carling

Emma is a Member of the Institution of Commercial and Business Agents who has worked in both Skipton and Leeds in estate agency throughout her working life.  Prior to working as a surveyor at Carling Jones,  Emma enjoyed 10 years at Humberts Leisure at Broughton Hall dealing with a number of large leisure related projects.  Later the company became GVA and moved to the Leeds office.  Emma now enjoys being part of the residential and commercial sales and lettings team in the family firm.  When Emma is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her three children, has travelled the Middle East and can speak fluent Arabic.

Declan Bullock

Declan joined the team in 2017 having previously worked in estate agency in Headingley and Ilkley for the past five years dealing with residential properties worth between £60,000 and £1,200,000.  He studied building surveying at Northumbria University having finished his A levels at Ermysted’s Grammar School in Skipton.  He has a wealth of property knowledge and is currently completing his NAEA training.
